PROJECT: 425 Line 8 North Wetland

CLIENT: Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

• Water’s Edge, in conjunction with Azimuth Environmental, was authorized by Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority to enhance the overall natural heritage and biodiversity of the site by creating and expanding wetland habitat, planting native trees, and seeding with a variety of native seed mixes.
• The final wetland design has eight distinct sections, each with different depths over an undulating terrain. This variety creates habitat for local wildlife.
• Construction of the wetland was completed in 2024.
