PROJECT: City of Toronto Stormwater Outfalls

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
- Water’s Edge was contracted by City of Toronto to complete a condition assessment and prioritization on ten (10) City outfalls.
- Subsequently, Water’s Edge undertook the design for the top two outfalls that needed replacement.
- Each outfall required the team to complete a Preliminary Design and Detailed Design, as well as provide construction site support and post- construction monitoring and reports.
- Outfall one required slope stabilization, a new maintenance chamber, new outfall, a retaining wall, and channel alterations.
- Each design required coordination with multiple regulatory agencies and sub-consultants.
- Monitoring of site is ongoing.
