PROJECT: Saltfleet Conservation Area Wetland Design (BC-1 and SC-5)

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

• Water’s Edge, with a team of sub-consultants (natural heritage, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and archaeology) completed a background review, field and desktop investigations, preliminary and final designs, and reports.
• The detailed design includes construction plans and specifications with suitable detail for construction tendering purposes.
• Two wetland storage facilities have been designed by Water’s Edge. BC-1 has been constructed. SC-5 has been designed and is undergoing review and approval.
• Since each facility required a dam with a control structure, MNRF was also part of the review agency team for LRIA permits.
